HELP!

The past couple of days have been kinda dull and "blaw"! I am guessing I am suffering from a bit of the February Blues!  A trip to Hawaii sounds about right!  I could check off one of my goals too!! But this doesn't seem to be in the cards this year...
So I am putting it out there. When you can't get a way what do you do to conquer the cabin fever at your house?  What do/would you do with out the T.V involved?  I am hoping that you will post them on here and I will take the list and make it one of my side posts to share with everyone!
Hope you will help me out!

  1. Make a tropical fruit salad, play drums made out of coconut shells (or wear them) build a papier mache palm tree, create tropical flowers out of tissue paper, play an ohe hano ihu and a ukelele, make real flower Hawaiian leis and have a Hawaiian beach party! <3

  2. I have a feeling you are sending this in jest, but sounds like great fun and knowing me so well you can expect pictures of a Hawaiin dinner to follow soon! Maybe while we are enjoying yet another storm this week end!! I must ask what is an ohe hano ihu? And where do I find a ukelele?
We could also do a mexican night, Austrailian, African...

  3. Actually I wasn't sending it in jest (for once) :) --I think that it would be a lot of fun! My mom has a ukelele somewhere.... an ohe hano ihu is the instrument that makes that totally hawaiian music sound--I think it's made out of bamboo, I've only seen one once.--- An Australian night would be awesome too, I have a hat you could borrow!

  4. Better than that, why don't you and your lovely family join us? How about next week end? Hawaiin night at my house...maybe "J" could bring something groovy to help with the meal!??

  5. Sounds fun!!! J is already planning a dish! :) Call me and we will figure out the day and time--I think I'll download some Hawaiian music instead of trying to find one of those bamboo instruments! ;)
